Message from the family
A man of true character, always giving to those in need, a mentor to his staff, a support structure to his friends. He always prided himself on leading by example. He never looked back on his actions as mistakes but looked boldly on towards a challenge. A true gentleman in all rights of the word, his life as a father, son, husband and brother was truly one that made him a legend. Small in stature yet a warm giant in all the lives he touched. There will be no other like him in life.
He leaves behind his loving wife: Roxanne, son: Priyan, daughter: Privani, mother: Rajes, sisters: Kamla and Devika and a host of other family members.
Love from……JPS Staff
Mr Suren Reddhi was living proof of how fine a person can be. He was a good principal to the people in charge, a loving husband to his wife, and a devoted father to his children. He was a good friend to many of us and a great colleague. The character of the life he lived might be summed up in a few words: he was sincere, he was ernest, he was loyal.
As principal, Mr Reddhi led his staff in such a way that he exemplified leadership. He gave energy, commitment and inspiration to his staff and others with whom he worked. Mr Suren Reddhi I remember was a happy man, one who not only was cheerful in himself but who gave much cheerfulness to others. He had a beautiful smile, a fantastic sense of humour and a gentle demeanor. Mr Reddhi was bright, logical and systematic in his thinking. He was always willing to share his ideas and information. He was passionately interested in educational matters and would advise us accordingly. Many of us found him a splendid person of great intellect with a big heart.
In his career as principal, he worked with passion, integrity and energy. By his death all the people who knew him will miss a highly intelligent, vibrant individual with a rare friendliness and charming personality. Mr Reddhi was a genuinely warm and wonderful individual- one we will miss greatly.
JPS family will certainly miss the presence of this beautiful soul daily.

Really sad loss to the teaching fraternity. He was a wonderful person and was in the prime of his life and career. He served with me on the Laudium branch of SADTU for many years. He taught at Andrew Anthony Primary, Lyttelton Primary and Brooklyn Primary as well. He will be sorely missed. Condolences to the bereaved family and all the staff of Jacaranda Primary. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Today I was heartbroken by the demise of Sam Pillay and his wife 2 days earlier. As if things could not get any worse another hero has fallen
