Laudium police welcomed the conviction of three men for house robbery in July of 2021 on the corner of 15th Avenue and Scarlett street.
Sergeant Naidoo managed to secure the conviction of Vusi Chabangu (31), Themba Mabaso (27) and Mathew Mubazi (21). All three men were sentenced to 21 years direct imprisonment.
“All suspects were convicted of armed robbery and sentenced to 13 years direct imprisonment, and eight years for two counts of attempted murder which will run concurrently.” Sergeant Simon Chokoe told Laudium Today.
