Educators have started pouring into the Laudium CHC for their vaccinations.
By 9am, scores of teachers gathered to get their jabs.
Local councillor, Farouk Essop and Social Cohesion Advocate, Yusuf Abramjee, were present to witness the programme.
“It’s all going smoothly,” said Essop.
Abramjee said the staff at the clinic and officials are in full attendance to ensure that the vaccinations are administered without hiccups.
“We salute all our health care workers for their dedication and commitment,” Essop told Laudium Today.
Abramjee thanked the staff for their efforts.
He said Laudium Disaster Management would continue to support the health care workers.
