WIFE AMONG FOUR ARRESTED:
On Sunday, 01/12/2024, a kidnapping occurred in the Wierdaburg area involving a black Jeep SRT8.
The suspects used the Jeep to bump a Mercedes S-Class off the road, forcing it to pull over.
Three suspects emerged from the Jeep and abducted both the driver and passenger of the Mercedes.
The S-Class was later recovered in the Heuweloord area.
Information led to the identification of the suspects’ vehicle.
The team tracked the victims to a house in Silver Lakes.
However, upon executing the operation, no evidence or victims were found.
During the investigation, family members of the Jeep owner reported it as hijacked after receiving a call from the owner claiming he was a victim of hijacking.
The Jeep was later located at a house in the Nelmapius area, where it was found abandoned in the garage.
Following a new lead, the team raided a location in Mamelodi, resulting in the arrest of four suspects and the safe recovery of the kidnapped victims.
It was subsequently uncovered that the wife of the victim had played an active role in orchestrating the kidnapping.
