"I'm the first Black woman to run at Pilditch Stadium….. first Black woman to win a national title." Sedibane told the crowd.

At some point, Sedibane held the national record across four distances between the 400m & 3000m.

Panyaza Lesufi stressed on the importance of Education. He told learners, “We want to prove that you can be a star and still have education as well. Live up to the name and protect the school.”

“When the National team is looking for players, we are coming to select them first from this school. The best sports players must come from this school.” Lesufi said.
