Four Nabbed, two for drugs in White Blocks

While Police officers were patrolling in Laudium, they spotted two suspicious men on Mustard Street in White Blocks.


After approaching the men, drugs to the value of R6,370.00 was found in their possession.


Both suspects believed to be in their thirties were arrested yesterday morning.


In a separate incident, two illegal taverns were shut down and two males were arrested for selling liqour without a licence.


Sergeant Simon Chokoe said, “Police will continue to leave no stone unturned to ensure that our communities are and feel safe.”


Laudium SAPS Station Commander Lieutenant Colonel Margaret Nkwane applauded members for their continuous hard work and success.


She further encouraged members of the community to continue partnering with the police on fighting crime.


All four suspects appeared in the Atteridgeville Magistrate court on Wednesday.
