A foreign national, believed to be a Bengali, has been killed during a shooting incident on Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred shortly before 18:30 in 9th avenue in Laudium's CBD.
A Centurion resident has allegedly handed himself over to Laudium police following the incident.
According to reports, members of Laudium Disaster Management and Netcare 911 Emergency Medical Services were called to the incident. On arrival, paramedics were informed that the victim had already been transported privately to Laudium Hospital.
It is believed that the victim was declared deceased on arrival at the local medical facility.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is being investigated by local police.
