Football Legend Bernard Hartze passes on

One of the greatest footballers that came out of Marabastad, Bernard Hartze has passed on. Born in Marabastad, schooled at Ferguson High School and then relocated to Eersterust in 1975. Bernard played locally for Pretoria City, Sundowns, Pirates and Cape Town Spurs. Internationally Bernard played for Tampa Bay Rowdies FC in the USA. “Deepest sympathies from the community of Prinsloo Street.
