On Sunday, 12th February 2023, Laudium Extension 3 Ratepayers with the support of the community embarked on a clean-up project of vacant spaces where frequent dumping and muggings occur. Grass was cut, trees were pruned and electrical infrastructure was protected using a spike welded onto electric poles as well as using lip channels (sheets of metal) to cover cables. This prevents cables from being easily cut.
Residents are fed-up with crime and cable theft and have decided to Unite.
The Ext3 Ratepayers thanked all those who contributed, “you are appreciated!”
