Efforts have been put in place by the Erasmia SAPS Management to continue with engaging several schools in their policing precinct to address safety programmes.
The Police visited Laezonia Primary School on Wednesday ,16 March 2022.
Information was shared with both pupils and educators on how to report sexual assaults and rape cases.
Learners were encouraged to focus on thier books during the upcoming school holidays and most importantly to ensure that they are not left alone in the house when their parents or family members.
Sergeant Tumisang Moloto said, “Educators play a critical role in identifying vulnerable children who might be affected by GBV in their respective homes.”
