Excited pupils from Erasmia Primary School had the opportunity of a lifetime as they attended the international T20 cricket match between South Africa and India at Supersport Park in Centurion on Wednesday.
The pupils, full of energy and enthusiasm, formed a guard of honour to welcome the players onto the field, an unforgettable experience that will stay with them forever. Notably, Allahudien "Pallies" Palekar, was officiating the match.

The match itself was thrilling. India posted a challenging total of 219/6 in 20 overs, with Tilak smashing a brilliant 107 off 56 balls, marking his maiden century. South Africa fought back with a strong effort, led by Marco Jansen, whose late surge added excitement to the contest. Despite the fireworks, India held on to win by 11 runs, taking a 2-1 lead in the four-match series. The final match will be held at Wanderers in Johannesburg on Friday.
