Laudium Disaster Management volunteers were called out to a bakkie on fire in Lotus Street late on Wednesday afternoon, June 02.
The bakkie which was parked in the driveway of the house was destroyed after allegedly being set alight. It is believed that the bakkie had no engine, gearbox and wiring.
Quick response from neighbors and members of Laudium Disaster Management managed to contain the fire from not spreading to the house.
No injuries were reported.
