Local based NPO, Angels Helping Hands rallied to support underprivileged children in a ‘back-to-school’ drive. Another record breaking milestone amidst covid, 430 stationery packs has been distributed to different schools across Gauteng.

Angels Helping Hands (AHH) is committed to assisting the disadvantage in Laudium and its immediate environs. Obviously, it would be impossible to help everybody, but AHH liaises with the organisations who can accurately identify the indigent.

AHH is made up of a band of dedicated women all committed to the task of making life easier for others.

The organization is proactive in identifying occasions where it can assist the underprivileged. Commencing from January 2021, AHH concerned itself with the ‘Back to School’ drive, where stationery packs and school shoes were given to children who come from disadvantaged families.

Head of AHH, Sivi Naidoo told Laudium Today, “I know of several families that have been hit hard by this pandemic. This is why we have decided to extend our efforts. Over the years we have hosted several feeding-scheme initiatives and after-school programmes. This year we wanted to do more and support our children with what they need most, stationery supplies.”

“Thank you Mzanzi for your truest spirit of Ubuntu in service to Mankind. Your ongoing selfless nobility and heart pouring benevolence is certainly always acknowledged and appreciated. We also would like to place on record our heartfelt gratitude in your continuous support of our initiatives.”
